Our Story

Kidlife by Essentials was born out of love, necessity, and family. Founded by Shante James, a wife, mom of three, and entrepreneur, Kidlife was inspired by her children. What started in our kitchen during the Covid-19 pandemic has grown into a trusted kids’ bath, body, and wellness brand.

As parents, we noticed a major gap: safe, natural, and affordable kids’ skincare and hygiene products were almost impossible to find. Many parents don’t realize that children often need deodorant as early as age 4, yet there were no kid-friendly, natural solutions on store shelves. So, we created our first product—Arms Up Natural Deodorant for Kids—and quickly expanded into a full line of all-natural kids’ bath, body, and wellness products.
